In the Rhodope mountains of Ancient Greece, when the pace of life was slower, camels were the main means of transportation. Loaded with wood, camels carried on delivering the necessities of life in the local community with self-confidence. This they did with commitment, dawn to dusk, every day.
 
“The camel doesn’t see her own hump” dates back to those times. Does she really not? What if she does not see but is aware of it?
 
If she were aware, perhaps she would see her hump like no one else could. She would have a sense of her own uniqueness, which sets her apart from others in the animal kingdom. She is framed by indestructible Ionic pillars, she is immersed in all the differences that make the Aegean blue.
